Before Assembly
Confirm that you have received the correct 120 Gallon Reptile Enclosure, with listed external dimensions of 48 × 24 × 24 inches (121.9 × 61 × 61 cm).
Carefully unpack and inspect the glass doors, enclosure panels, frame components, steel mesh top, substrate barrier, cable-routing accessories, and supplied hardware.
Do not begin assembly if any glass panel is cracked or structural component is damaged.
Choosing the Installation Location
Place the enclosure on a stable, level surface capable of supporting the fully equipped habitat, including substrate, decorations, heating equipment, and the animal.
Allow enough clearance for the sliding front doors, overhead lighting, ventilation, and routine maintenance.
Assembling the Enclosure
Follow the assembly instructions supplied with the product. Make sure the frame and panels are properly aligned and secured before adding substrate or habitat equipment.
Do not force glass panels into position or overtighten hardware.
Check that the assembled enclosure is stable before use.
Sliding Tempered Glass Doors
Ensure both sliding glass doors are correctly seated in their tracks.
Open and close each door carefully to verify smooth movement.
Check for gaps that could allow small reptiles or feeder insects to escape. If a locking mechanism is included, confirm that it operates correctly.
Steel Mesh Top & Cable Management
Check that the steel mesh ventilation top is securely positioned.
The enclosure features eight designated cable-routing openings. The manufacturer describes the system as accommodating up to four cables, depending on their dimensions.
Route electrical cables through the designated openings without pinching or damaging insulation.
Keep wiring and electrical connections away from water and direct contact with reptiles.
Removable Substrate Barrier
The enclosure includes a transparent substrate barrier approximately 3.9 inches (9.9 cm) high.
Ensure the barrier is correctly positioned before adding loose substrate.
Remove or reinstall the barrier only as permitted by the enclosure's assembly design.
Heating, Lighting & Habitat Setup
Select heating, UVB lighting, thermometers, thermostats, and other equipment according to the requirements of the reptile species being kept.
Verify temperatures and UV exposure at the animal's actual basking position.
The mesh top may reduce UVB transmission, so lighting distances and measured output should be checked when selecting equipment.
Do not place heating equipment directly against materials unless the equipment manufacturer confirms that the installation is safe.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean the enclosure regularly using cleaning methods compatible with its materials.
Avoid abrasive tools and harsh chemicals that could damage glass, panels, seals, or frame surfaces.
Inspect the sliding doors, tracks, ventilation mesh, cable openings, and structural components periodically.
Important Safety Information
The enclosure has not been verified as watertight. Do not fill it with water or use it as an aquarium.
Stacking capability has not been confirmed. Do not stack enclosures without a manufacturer-approved stacking system.
This guide provides general setup and maintenance precautions. Always follow the official assembly instructions supplied with your enclosure.
